Who operates this site

The operator is responsible for the personal information collected through this site. To ask about this notice or about your information, use the contact page.

What the enquiry form collects

• What you type. Your name, email address, phone number, the options you choose and your message. The condo evaluation form also asks for the address of the unit.
• Details of the submission. The page the form was sent from, the time it was sent, the country the request came from and your browser's user agent string. These are used to reply in context and to screen out automated submissions.
• Spam filtering. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated scripts. Cloudflare processes a challenge token and your IP address for that purpose.

The site does not ask you to create an account and it has no password or sign in for visitors.

Listing search

The condos for sale pages show listing data from the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB), received through PropTx. When you search, this site sends your search choices, such as area, price range and bedrooms, to that data service to fetch matching listings. It does not send your name or contact details. Listing information belongs to TRREB and the listing brokerages.

Blog uploads

Some blog posts are published through a password protected upload page used by the site's authors. It is not open to visitors and it does not collect visitor information.

Why the information is collected

To answer your enquiry about North York condos and, where you have agreed, to send you further messages about real estate. Your information is not sold and is not passed to other parties for their own marketing.

Consent and how to withdraw it

The enquiry form asks for your consent before commercial electronic messages are sent to you and that choice is recorded with your submission. You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email, by replying and asking for messages to stop or through the contact page.

Where enquiries go

An enquiry is delivered by email to the inbox that receives this site's enquiries and may also be passed to a system used to keep track of enquiries. This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which also runs the enquiry form and the spam filtering. These service providers process information on the operator's behalf and may store or process it outside Canada, including in the United States, where it is subject to the laws of that country.

If you go on to work with a brokerage on a purchase or sale, information is shared with the parties needed to complete it, such as lawyers, lenders and the real estate board.

How long it is kept

Enquiry records are kept for as long as they are needed to answer you and to meet any record keeping duties that apply, then deleted or de-identified.

Your choices

You can ask what personal information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or ask for it to be deleted where there is no duty to keep it. Send the request through the contact page. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries are checked on the server. The keys used for spam filtering, listing data and enquiry delivery are held in server settings and are not included in the pages your browser loads.

Changes to this notice

When the way this site handles personal information changes, this page and the date under its heading are updated.
